Traditional Thai Yoga Massage

Traditional Thai Yoga massage is an ancient healing art which combines Ayurveda and Yoga influences from India and South-east Asian cultural healing traditions.

Thai massage works by releasing blocked energy around vital channels within the body. The massage is traditionally performed on a padded floor mat where the massage practitioner uses their hands, feet, knees and elbows to apply pressure on these channels, whilst expertly manipulating limbs into yoga-like stretches.

The gentle muscle compression of the massage movements help loosen joints, stretch muscles and stimulate circulation. Customers usually emerge feeling energised, yet with an inner sense of calm
and contentment.

Upper Body Massage

This massage treatment concentrates on upper body tension (head, neck, back and shoulders) release stress and ease tired and aching muscles.

The neck and the back are the areas on our body which are most prone to stiffness and pain. Desk jobs, long working hours and poor posture can all lead to a build-up of tension in the upper body. What’s more, the neck is a flexible structure which essentially connects the brain to the rest of the body, so it stands to reason that any discomfort in this area will have repercussions in other areas.

An upper body massage will help to relieve this tension, with a mix of massage strokes and kneading, at the pressure of your choosing. In addition to easing your aches and pains, this is a very relaxing treatment that gives you some much-needed time out from the hectic pace of daily life.

You can choose between 60 and 90 minutes of this treatment:

  1. 60 minute massage £50

  2. 90 minute massage £75

Reflexology Massage

This ancient technique directly stimulates the nervous system through the application of gentle yet firm pressure to acupressure points – primarily in the feet – which correspond to glands, organs and muscles throughout the body, promoting healing in these areas.

Reflexology is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic treatment. It is based on the ancient Chinese theory that in a healthy body, energy is flowing freely – and if that energy becomes obstructed, then illness may result.

Reflexology works on the principle that the feet mirror the body. All the organs, systems and glands of the body have a corresponding area on the feet, known as reflex points. A reflexologist knows how to stimulate the reflex points in order to treat the corresponding body part.

Reflexology is a holistic treatment which works on your mind, body and spirit as a whole, rather than treating just one specific area. For instance, if you are suffering from stress, you may experience headaches and tension pain.

Likewise, a physical condition can be emotionally draining. Reflexology aims to redress the energy balance in your body and mind as a whole, which many believe to be more effective than working directly on just one area.

Treatment options:

  1. 60 minute massage £50

  2. 90 minute massage £75

  3. 120 minute massage £95

Reflexology can help to treat a number of conditions, including:

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Hormonal imbalances

  • Sleep disorders

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Joint pain

  • Breathing disorders

  • Digestive problems

Colon Hydrotherapy

Infrequent bowel movements can result in a build-up of faecal matter in your colon hence, a build-up of toxins. These toxins get reabsorbed into your bloodstream and lower your immune response. 80% of the immune system is dependent on intestinal health. A healthy colon is the soul to a healthy lifestyle that will not go unnoticed if neglected. A colonic can help with; Digestive system problems, Skin problems, Headaches, Yeast infections, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Allergies and Intolerances. It is also commonly used as a kick-start to weight loss and boosts your general vitality and performance!

Treatment: 1 hour £75

What is the treatment like?

It is a very gentle process, like an internal bath by infusing warm filtered water into the rectum. This allows the water to cleanse and hydrate the colon. The abdomen is gently massaged to aid in releasing congested waste and pathogenic (harmful) bacteria. This treatment will make you feel refreshed and energised. As a result, you have now created a clean environment for beneficial bacteria to colonise and restore a balanced intestinal flora that will leave you feeling in sync.
